GOGO ZODWA MQADI'S HOMEGOING

under We Are Together, Rise Foundation

The  RISE Foundation is deeply saddened by the passing of Gogo Zodwa Mqadi, who has run the Agape Orphanage since 1996. Zodwa was the force that has kept Agape running over the years. She once said "education is their mother and their father" when talking about all the children that she has helped over the years, but she gave them something that even an education can not give....LOVE. For children who have lost the people that loved them it was the greatest gift she could have given.

Gogo, we will all miss you terribly but your memory will be kept alive in the thousands of lives you have changed.
